The outlook for business conditions is always changing, and so are the future earnings. The market is trending downward and none of the signs point to a recovery. Buying companies solely because their market price has fallen will get you nowhere. The stock market is difficult to understand. It is time to wonder whether or not investing in stocks is worth all the hassle.

Investing in risk free investment for 1 Yr will get you 10.57%(1Yr T'Bill rate)

Investing in slight risk investment for 1 Yr will get you 11.50%-13%(top 5 commercial banks Fd rate for 1 Yr)

Equity shares investment with heavy risk involved return is ?
For me, this yr equity investment return will be lower than the first option. This is just my view, but in the long run (5-10Yrs) return will be far superior to FD or TBill return in the very very long run. For that you need to carefully select the company which has huge growth potential and will survive turbulent times when it comes.
