This type of posts does not have much life in this form ex:Post regarding channel 4 vedeo,Post titled that our president arrested in us...
One might think that these are political matters and should not be discussed in this type of form.
But I think these political matters have significant impact on share market and we should discuss it this form.....Any more suggestions....?

As all political decisions are based on financial matters (My understanding) they have a huge impact on share markets so I think in a forum like this we should discuss them. For example anyone who sees that Channel 4 video (Authenticity is another matter) will think twice when planning to visit/invest in Sri Lanka.

I personally think that this video has more effect that Banki-Moon report because it was aired on public television.

i too believe that politics affect the stock market of a particular country. i remember how the share indices used to shoot up when UNP came to power in 2001 and when MR came to power. investor sentiments are affected by these types of news. although i know there are people who will like to differ. this is only an expression of a view. not that i'm asserting to it. people at AVIVA NDB wealth management who manage about 33 billion rupees in funds in the CSE think that this current down trend is due to the UN general's statements, the darussman report submitted by the panel, and due to non stop IPO's. i heard there are like 50 more IPO's waiting to suck out the money from the secondary market. people should be aware of what is going on around the world as well, not just concentrate on the CSE.
