Construction sector blue chip AEL's link to China Harbour (CHEC) and the quantum of construction work at the Port City coupled with the anticipated change of Govt should see the share price zoom in the near future.

You are right. But that's a qty of 30million shares.
Anyway, under the prevailing situation the overall market sentiment may remain sluggish.

It would be interesting to see how the market responds/reacts to the latest developments in the political scene.

Can we rule out personal reason for the sale by one of the non-executive directors?
The other side of the story is there had been a buyer for the whole lot. Who was the buyer?

If the stock is worth then the buyer should have bought at 14. Instead 30 Million shares were sold at 13/20.

Its a large quantity and a single crossing. Hence it must have been transacted at 13/20 depending on the urgency of seller.
Furthermore, to portray a non-executive director as owner of AEL is misleading too.
Analyse the buyer!
