Introducing more & more companies to CSE is a good move...CSE need many more...& investors should know what to buy & what to avoid, the they should have strategies on investing in IPOs as short/long term investments

IPOs are issue to raise fresh capital to companies to expand their business, btw there should be a time gap between each IPO,unless there will be liquidity issues in the market..
if you can hold stable shares with good fundamentals, you dont want to worry, there is good IPOs are on the way,use them to earn some quick profits.

If you evaluate the real worth of the existing shares with extra consideration for the status 'emerging market' the whole market should drop by around half to come to correct prices. That won't happen overnight because the SEC controls. One reason this happened was because everybody is bidding on the same tiny market. This should be expanded as much as possible through new companies. So that the over expensive existing shares will drop to a sane level eventually.

Colombo Share Market is the size of 0.01% of Bombay Stock Exchange.

you got a point, there should be many more companies listed in CSE,if the amount of companies are increasing rapidly,SEC can grant licence to another stock exchange...
also i remember MARK MOBIOUS pointed out that...

In Sri Lanka there is over 6000 business which is at the stage and level which they could list. But only about 300 will be listed at the end of the year. See the potential growth in CSE. So dont worry about IPOs. I love them since that absorb the extra money rolling in CDS accounts which could be used for manipulation.
