The reason that I heard is once government lifts import restrictions the dollar will go to 190+ again

The rumor is this benefit to comb as they have huge dollar reserve

It seems foreign buying pressure and there is a private placement for Commercial Bank. That's why I told you to keep on Eye on Commercial Bank. A decent run started today and it's not a huge one. But you can earn a decent profit from a stable stock.

Hi all,

I feel Com Bank is strongest cf. all other banks due to following;

1. Diversified exposure in Bangladesh contributing almost 20% of the portfolio which reduces the risks of NPL which is currently hurting the SL Banks

2. Larger concentration in Bond Trading portfolio cf. other Banks, contributing significantly to earnings in a declining interest rates

3. Holding a substantial foreign currency portfolio which has the potential to contribute to earnings LKR/USD depreciation.

Therefore, highly recommend COMB X or N, even at this juncture.

Good Luck

Since the Gap between AWDR and AWLR is being reduced .margins will also be reduced. So will be low profitability .
But will be stable investment without many risk.

Hi all,

COMB.X [NON VOTING] has a much bigger potential cf. to COMB.N[VOTING] in terms of high level price movements in the COMB.N counter.

COMB.X increased by Rs 3/- while COMB.N increased by Rs 6/- during the same period.

COMB.X[NON VOTING]=IMPROVED ONLY RS 3/- [PERIOD - 06.08 - 13.08]
