Taj Lanka Hotels lead sector profits growing 1,482.9 percent year on year during the quarter.
Hotel Services Ceylon followed with 1,212.7 percent,
Keells Hotels 617 percent, and
Galadari Hotels Lanka 363.1 percent.

Sector profits,
Aitken Spence Hotels (AHUN) with 18 percent of sector profits,
Keells Hotels (KHL) 16 percent, and
Trans Asia Hotels (TRAN) 12 percent.

It is difficult to say when hotels start to appreciate. We can have some hint from recent developments in the sector as Mr Nimal Perera and Dilith Jayaweera's enter in accumulating AHUN. If you take hotel chains AHUN is the best and we all know the problem of KHL. CHOT will take some time to show good results. I am following a different approach looking after individual hotels where I can gain maximum capital gain (percentage wise). By analyzing past fake rallies my focus is on RHTL and MRH.

AHUN and KHL . KHL some thing positive can be expected after a long period.

Possible but have to be careful since their is a on going visa issue which can effect the whole industry
