- Expo is most happy about their Balance Sheet compared to competitors which have made them who they are today.

- They are not thinking local, they have captured all markets around China, that China market had no option but to take EXPO on board as they had offices right round China and air and sea route connectivity (Bold move, strategic thinking... What Mr. Hanif is best at)

- Airline carriers always gave first preference to EXPOLANKA in the cargo segment due to the 20+ years of relationships they’ve built and the trust they had during an economic crisis.

- Vaccine business is not new to EXPO, they have been transporting vaccines for the last 5 years and the Covid vaccine business is only a small element of their total Pharmaceutical transportation business. Even if they transport 7bn vaccines around the world, it’s only a small contribution to their revenue as EXPO Pharma logistics is a huge business already.

- EXPO is one of the main carriers that ship automobiles in Asia. Mainly Japan.

- Parent company SGH Holdings has already made plans to take the company to a USD 2 billion revenue company.

- Group Finance Director said they will continue to pay 20% dividends payout ratio from Free Cash Flow and balance is allocated to the vision of the company to make it a USD 2 billion company.

- Currently, their Return on Equity (ROE) is the highest in the industry.

- Post pandemic EXPO has already purchased cargo space in aircraft and ships, so this will maintain their current revenue and profit for the coming years and quarters.

- They’ve been prepared to take on this pandemic and serve the world demand for covid products because they have readily available capacity which they worked on since 2017.

- EXPO is the preferred freight forwarder of many Asian Airlines and now that they have captured Asia, Europe and USA, their next continent is South America

- They are proud that a Sri Lankan company is recognised globally at No. 26 and if the time and valuation is right, they will acquire logistics companies in Europe.

- In Sri Lanka there are 300 logistics companies and EXPO is number 1 in Air Freight.

- All their earnings are in USD and JPY and not in LKR.

- EFL CEO Mr. Shanmugan said “the most exciting times for EXPO are yet to come with their new clients on board”

expo and many other value stocks are there... they problem is not the stock...the stupid market sentiment and how our ppl sell at a slightest red patch by the manipulators.. they keep on using high index sesnsitive stocks like CTC, nest, buki, good, carsons etc to reverse the tide :/

Hi all,

The CSE witnessed 2 months of SELL OFF and now in CONSOLIDATION BULL PHASE.

Today we saw Turnover reaching above Rs 2.0Bn mark FOR 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS with some indications of BULLS. If you analyze the INTRADAY volumes, it is clearly visible. Some have realized gains towards the later part of the day believing the fact that realizing a 10% gain is safer from lessons learned during last 2 months. In a way, it can be right.

For the second consecutive day, the top 5 turnover shares represented by DIPD | EXPO | HAYL which recorded a turnover of Rs 848Mn which is 34% of the total turnover. It is an interesting time period before the financials are released on why people are on a COLLECTION mode in these CONTINUOUSLY.

We are in the early April 2021 and too early to anticipate anything in CSE. However, the market looks to be very much poised for a sustainable BULL RUN in coming weeks. I personally feel that 3~4 weeks in April 2021 and early May 2021 would be the most active weeks in CSE.

Therefore, INVEST WISELY to make SUBSTANTIAL RETURNS in companies which sense and have fundamental reasons to grow in coming quarters as well as financial capacity to make future oriented investments

EXPO is now in front of releasing its ever best annual financial statements before the 30th April.
I believe its price will start appreciating to its next level before the financials comes.
Recently, we saw many broker firms were did many research reports and given many targets.
Report from "Bartleet" has target as Rs.55/-
Also , with the year ending financials possible to declare its final dividend.
I believe compare to market PE, company earnings, growth of the company and its market expansions, EXPO should upgrade to its next level of close or around Rs.70/- (say between RS. 60 - 75 range), because I expecting annualized 7.5 EPS and have to trade 9 or 10 PE.
This is Not for BUY recommendation and have to monitor now onwards, whether this can achievable.

Other factor to consider.
seems now HAYL, DIPD,HAYC are already starts its price adjusting to match with their annual earnings. so, EXPO can be follow soon.

I also feel that EXPO should be a CONGLOMERATION where SL should proud where EXPO DYNAMICALLY CAPITALIZED C19 opportunity.

With the SUBSTANTIAL GAINS REALIZED by EXPO, they have INVESTED HEAVILY ON GLOBAL MARKET EXPANSION driving BUSINESS GROWTH.

Now EXPOs latest STRATEGIC INVESTMENT is MERGER and ACQUISITIONS in LOGISTICS WAREHOUSES which EXPO has STARTED IN USA. As per CEO COMMENTS, there are many MERGERS and ACQUISITIONS lined up for EXPO. Thus, we can EXPECT SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN NET ASSETS of EXPO in coming quarters

Therefore, on top of the HEFTY EARNINGS EXPECTATIONS together with the FINAL DIVIDEND, we can expect another improvement in NA LV in FINANCIALS of EXPO.
