Sirimal talks likes a frog in a well.
He tries to compare Sri Lanka to Venezuela which is largely sidelined by the world due to the high handed activities, over a long period , by its former president and correct president Nicole Maduro and suffering from embargoes by the west. Mismanaged with socialism , adding fuel to the fire.
He thinks Sri Lanka works in isolation. He forgets the creditors who would not want to suffer leaving their partner to be bankrupt. Professors and many others are seen today indulging in the thought that Sri Lanka would soon become bankrupt and try to bring fear among ordinary people. They don’t realize that they, their families , friends are also in this boiling pot. The person who started this post also in that category. Trying to bring in fear among investors so that market will crash. He doesn’t know that hm , his family and Freind’s will also be dragged down by these negative aftermaths. If such a thing happens every body will suffer. When you cannot pay your credit are you going around announcing it to the world . You need to think about your country also like that. Try to fill people’s minds with positive thoughts and bring in some energy for them to go through the bad periods. Nothing more can be expected from people who become paper qualified people with research done copying from reference books and producing degree theses. Time to stop these kind of stories and do some practical things , give some advises as to how the motherland can come out if these difficult situations.

People enjoying bankrupt stories and publicizing them and trying to bring in chaos can only be labeled as traitors. History shows that Sri Lank has had many such traitors and betrayals. Infamous 1815 treaty which donated on platter to the British a country that three big European countries could not capture for centuries is one example.
Now , these so called professors and others who milked free education from motherland are also plying soothsayers with one sided analysis and try inculcate negativity in peoples minds. We have to work together to mitigate any bad situation. Try growing something in your backyard and contribute. Negativity will only make you suffer.
