okay...what is the effect of this decision to the share price!

Can any one explain what will happen to the company if they loose the court case. No this case is dragging almost one year, 4th time postpone,i think. What is the risk the share holder bear with pending court case?.As twod won in first time,this is the appeal filled by the SLASS, what is the possibility of loosing the case?

with prevailing market condition this may go down to 18 level and stabilize in early 20's.

windi. TWOD won the initial case in jan 2010. the current case is about whether SLAS has the right to appeal against the ruling of the appeals court. As per the supreme court ruling SLAS can appeal against the original ruling

No Think9! It's not dat people don't learn from the past, it is the risk they take to go up. When U go up,there's always a risk of coming down.But staying on the ground without going up fearing falling down.... will keep U on the ground for ever.... There is a part of our Brain designed for Risks,Adventure,Etc....
The best thing is to manage your risk levels. There should be a limit. ex. A certain percentage(5%-10%) of Ur portfolio for High risk -High return shares (Amount that U cud farget if U lose). By doing that U could keep smiling all da time.

Its very funny now, all are very curious and and frustrated about this matter now,like our family problem. I wonder whether , even twod ppl care about this court case this serious. There are performing well every year.So they dont have any problem except paying their lowers some money

well...

there is truth in TWOD performing well this year. That is mostly why i got their shares. I was hoping that this court case would inspire more confidence in TWOD.

Dis is a Market Sensitive case. Court cannot drag dis forever. Court will be forced to finish this soon!(Atleast from another 4-5 rounds or 1 year). With da plan I came to dis counter,I cud wait another 1-1 1/2 years. I'm sure TWOD will win this ( According to previous court decisions). When it wins , I'll be dancing on the Street!!!! i think you are only allowed to appeal once. this should settle things one way or the other

What matters in this case is not the court decision,whether its in favor or not its going to affect the balance sheet prior year earnings, whether the company can generate enough cash to survive until this tide is over.

In the long run, it has to generate real returns by way of cash from operations, it cannot survive on cash from shareholders for ever.

What ever the court decision is I am still uncomfortable about their biological asset valuation which is amounting to Rs.5 billion in current value. Real test on TWOD will be when its liabilities matures.

In the short to medium term I am bullish on this counter based on historical earnings. Even if the company looses the case at appeals court the impact on asset value (as mentioned in books) will be nominal. The whole company is valued at Rs. 1.7Billion as of now, if you really discount the uncertain factors relating to assets valuation still this counter is trading at a discount. However whether this value is materialized as shareholder value is left to the market. In the current market I believe this counter is attractive in terms of valuations and can bring about above average returns in medium term.

From the companies point of view it would be ideal if they can exercise some form of independent actuarial valuation and cast out these doubts relating to assets valuation, because as long as this problem lingers company will continue to suffer liquidity issues and higher financing cost. In effect such a move will also can indicate the management confidence in their business; or vise-versa, before they can try to influence fund providers.

Please note that above is my personal view and please obtain professional advice before making your investment decision.

No matter what standards say, when those trees get mature, they will have a fair value in the market and that will definitely bring a huge profit to the company.

By the 1st of January 2012 all companies have to conform with the new standards LKAS & SLFRS. This is more inline with IFRS. So subsequently this valuation should be acceptable in SL.
Anyways its funny that even though the company is performing well & is fundamentally strong the share price keeps fluctuating according to the court case verdict. This shows that some of the investors are buying shares for the wrong reasons.

That's obviously true.. This court case is to me is an irrelevant matter for the company performance..Finally it matuaring of tree and the valuations those bring to the books after sales..
ppl dont want to go and see whats the case is about as long as its a court case pending a verdict ppl still fear..I mean , the presence of a court case make ppl fear and panic.. just becuz its a court case..
This is where real investors would jump in and buy the shares.. They can look for 3-12 months period of time to reap the benefits from it or even a lesser period.. Today last minute selling pressure destroyed my chart patterns drastically.. Now it seems like TWOD is another share going down.. But truth is its panic selling

if that is the why on earth is the SLAS looking to appeal the court decision. makes little sense, digging up the past like that when there will be no future ramifications.

can't someone tell the these SLAS guys to do some better job than going after the lost case?
Can any of those why HNWI pay a little visit to these SLAS guys who probably in need of help ($), and help them for their future?
