She is dreaming and hopeful …..When would market grow on real investments and reflect corporate earnings properly in the CSE……

time to change ...

Please don’t delete this comment. CSE eke dhan “aandi hath denage kanda haliya wage.” With new credit restrictions CSE is changing towards actual investments. ….If some thing is not pragmatic and not working, time to change and focus on real investments….. No point persisting on unsuccessful methods…….How ever much attempted certain things do not work because most of the investors in the CSE are educated enough and intelligent enough to understand the realities. ….once or twice they can make errors, that would not go on for too long….. There are successful ways of building up a stock market.

Time to change the picture..

She might do well if those dreams come true in the near future…

Nice pic. Goes with the theme of the forum. But could have scaled down a bit.
For a forum, I think a strip like header is more suitable...

I am a lady following this forum.

I thought this forum is about the SRI LANKAN market. If so why is the lady in the picture blonde and white? Don't we have any Sri lankan ladies that appeal to all of you ? ( Or is it a case of Colonial mentality ??? .........)

Hi,

Nowadays by looking at someone it's rather difficult to identify sri lankan or not ! they colour in almost all the colours they get in to their hands (people who are running saloons)

Any Saloons come into CSE ? Could be able see a good IPO

I am really surprised that a majority like the new picture.To me the picture is totally alien ,she looks like a lady from a sci-fic movie, has no relevance to the forum at all.
I believe that the picture has to be that of a person to whom we can all relate to,obviously has to look Sri lankan.

There has been a lot said about this Forum logo. I would appreciate it if the administrators would consider the following ideas and revise it.
The current logo (with no offence to the lady) shows a forlorn and a lonely figure like the guardian of a mortuary. A stock market is a place full of people with frenzied activity. Why not show a lot of people in black and white silhouette with their paper bids in the raised hands. These people can stand in front of a giant ticker showing the ASI index. Another bunch of people can be shown sitting in front of the computer screens. The lady if you want to show her can be shown with a big auctioneer's hammer in her raised hand. She is the one who holds power over the Forum members and hence would be symbolic both to the members as well as the stock trading! Think about it.

I like changing the logo time to time.
Pls try to get rid of the empty area if possible.
I've read somewhere (I think in Fen Shui), you should have a name board running from left-most to the right-most .
