Hi guys seems the chicken rally has taken the other way round with TAFL 10% Band, any idea where this will go, Say Gran going back to 88 level confused

I dont think it is over. They increased continuously for 3 days. I think will go again from friday

Forward PE based on 1Q-11 results & todays closing price;

BFL - 11.7
TALF - 17.9
GRAN - 19.7

For me BFL is attractive at a PE of 11 due to it's expansion & vertical integration.

You need to take at least 04 quarters to arrive at the PE, if you take only 1 quarter it will not be accurate. Please take the quarter end December you will see a different PE. If you are basing your decision on the above please re consider buying as it is over valued for this sector.

no it will not happen last Friday to Tuesday more than 7.3 mi shares traded between 110 to 162 most shares traded above 140 levels. since 2011 June 6 to 28 July less than 2.5 shares has been traded below Rs 130.levels I HOPE THAT GRAN will re bounce and reach 150 levels before end of this week

I only took first qtr of this year so that the valuation is more conservative....first qtr was mainly hit by higher maize cost...you are right if we take last yr the PE's will be much better...

GRAN, TAFL and most other counters cannot run against ASI. So, if ASI continues to fall, these will come down to their previous levels.

The chicken run was not due to good results. It was just blowing out the tension created due to fall from 250 to 76.

On the other hand, BFL was stable compared to GRAN and TAFL. It may be because BFL is a stable company and it has been preforming above average during last few quarters.

BFL quarter report might be good. Any one can predict about tafl and gran.Both are under the same umbrella

Festival season coming on DEC so they will produce more to cater that. first qtr of 2012 will be good for there company. if government not import chicken again Very Happy

If gov not import these, companies will make billions sucking poor ppls money. when there is a scarcity in the mkt,gov has to import some and make the mkt clam down.

yes they can make the scarcity of the market and simply raise the price during the festival season.

nowadays CSe seem to take strict action ...when ever there is slightest abnormal movement in any stock... !
