The Securities and Exchanges Commission has permitted stock broking companies who have liquid assets to extend credit to retail investors with effect from today, SEC sources told Ada Derana.

I hope the monitoring system put in place works and the brokers comply with the monitoring system without try to overcome it by finding loop holes or we might have to face a similar overvalued market next year which would give rise to a similar forced selling situation which was encountered during the last few months.
