ASIA- no requirement other than a CDS account, They will give Both Direct FN and CDAX for free even for empty CDS accounts.

What is the difference between CDAx and Direct FN?]

both are online trading software develop by two vendors and different feature they have. but i think DFN is good than Cdax

JB only gives online facility for portfolios above Rs 500,000. At least that's what they told me 3 weeks back.

I have an account with JB and they provided me Online facility for 450,000.00.Yes their general requirement is 500,000.00.I believe that their web based online system is one of the best with many important data.My broker used to send investment advices via SMS but I found only a few were useful.

@suchitra,
CDAX and Direct FN are two separate online trading software's used by broker firms.Some brokers are trying to keep limited online traders by requesting minimum portfolio values.Its clear that online trading systems with limited customers have less troubles when market is extremely active like this morning.
I believe that Direct FN is more advanced than CDAX.

Yes.So far i did not experience anything bad with them..except some bad buy advices.But I don't blame my broker for that.

I'm managing 2 portfolios with bartleet & Ashaphillip DirectFN...
Bartleet has a very poor online trading system compared to DirectFN
& another thing is in bartleet if you happen to close the browser without logging out, you have to wait half an hour to access your account....but not in DFN
seeing all the features, DirectFN maxxaaa...
(cannot say about advices coz, still I didn't ask much from both of them)

SC/BMS - not good online system, once u sold yr stock u can't buy another same day, coz their system update in evening.

better to go for DFN, they have web based version also

What about john keels? S C is very bad. Login problems are also available in their system and their server has many errors everyday, such as not responding, shifting the prices, stuck and so much more. Smile

Thnks 'sas' . I also manage my PF with asha phillips and got DFN for my Blackberry 8520 too. But im little bit worried since DFN in my phone since it get stuck most of the times.may be some thing wrong with my phone. Further im disappointed with their service standards. They dont have enough people to satisfy their medium & small scale investors. Recently i opened an Ac with Bartleet & quite happy with their service standards. No idea about their online system

I am using Amana as i feel it is good for small investors. they use ATrad. Is Sri Lanka’s only Sun Microsystems certified real-time, online stock trading
system.

Really Bartleet online trading system is very poor. I dont know why they are using such a poor system,even though they are one of leading brokering firm in sri lanka.
My bartleet broker is ok. I can contact him easily. even at google chat. Recommendations are 50% ok.
But the only problem is online system.

Bartleet online system is really really bad. I have two accounts with Bartleet and Asia securities. Aisia's online trading system is very very good and its free. Dont know about trading advice though. Both are not very good.
