Odd list:- It is the order book with selling and buying orders for less than 100 of shares.

Imagine u got 659 shares. If u want sell it u have to sell 600shares on normal list and 59shares on odd list.

Even for same share price can very on normal and odd list.

If u have online trading system u can compare the differences of normal and odd list.

it is the list for transactions less than 100 shares. But considering brokerage,SEC fees.etc. It is not worth to do transactions of small cost shares unless you recieved some odd numbers of shares by right or bonus issues.

CSE is going to link botH NORMAL & ODD books in very soon.

So, in future you can see only one book & each shareholder can buy as his wish quantity.

then, at the end of the day each share will have only one value.

After link the both normal and odd book whether still we can put the minimum trading qty. cos if some one buy one or two share cos the brokerage will have major impact.

Eg: 1 share @ 100 have to pay brokerage 15.46 so buyer have to pay 115.46 and seller get only 84.54

must be carefull when u are selling or buying Odd lots of penny stocks . recently I sold an odd lot of a penny stock after having sold the normal quantity . unfortunately I forgot that there is "minimum Brokerage " of Rs 10 . and on top of that my odd lot sell order was filled in two chunks. ultimately what happened was I did not gain by this sale but lost few rupees !
