If someone wants to invest Rs 500,000 in only one company shares and has time to let it mature it for another 365 days and have no credit worries then what is the best share to buy?

plenty of companies out there...But you should not by when they are in rally.

Some of those companies are
TFC N -35
TFC.X- 13
LGL.N-42
LGL.X - 28
RICH-10.5
SHL - 22

These values seems to be the lowest values. However there is a chance to market collapse anytime. That may result with a negative return even after one year!

Provided that short term volatility doesnt hit me, I's opt for the following companies on a mid - long term holding as I see growth in these;
However I'd divide 500K in to two and invest in 2 of the following;

RCL - buying point is below 150
VONE - buying point is below 29
DOCK
RENU
COLO - buying point is around 360-380
DIMO - buying point is around 1350-1450
LION
BRWN

I think LGL and PABC are good at the current prices.

I think this purely depends on your expectation of how much you need to earn as a percentage. If you want to have more than 50% return on your investment VONE and RICH would be fine. Provided there is no right issue, LGL.X would serve your purpose.

If I have 500K I'll select VONE and LOFC
RAL also a good pick for long term since agriculture is part of people's life.

1. Better to diversify your FB at least 3 Shares.
2. Search shares those below IPO prices but even better below Private placement prices or below warrant conversion prices/ right issue prices.
3. Here most of the members have suggested good shares - but do your own analysis and own research. Take your own responsibility.

From my experience,
All the member suggested are good for time being. me too believe the diversification the investment, 3 to 5 could be adequate. thinking sectors might be good option. In our market one or two companies in a sector start to move, others too follow. therefore during the given time different sectors will do for you.
But I will give you a second thought. Before investing make a a possible target of return. during the year if you reached your target take it. because at the end of one year again market may be in a down time and there might be hardly any gain.

Thank guys for all your responses.
I wish if more people have responded.
It was not only an investment advice help ( spreading and lowering the risks & exit strategy recommended noted) but also a social experiment.

BLUE , ECL , SEMB - FOR 6 MONTHS THESE MAY BE OK. BUT FOR 1 YEAR - I HAVE NO IDEA. MAY BE LITTLE BIT RISK.

If I had Rs 500,000 right now, I would invest it in CABO @ Rs 120 ~ 130... and would conservatively expect a return of 25-30% in 1 year. (But how many people are satisfied with 25-30% per annum nowadays?!)

Anything above 20% is good enough for me.

CABO is a good choice and if you have patient just wait for the commercial bank split and see the price moment for 5 days then take a decision specially non voting one

My Best 5 for next 1-2 years

1.NTB
2.RCL
3.SHL
4.DIMO
5.BIL or VONE

Probable ROI- 75-100 % after 1-2 years, For DIMO,RCL and NTB at the mean time I will exit if they exceed P/E of 20.This is not applicable for other 3.

This is my view only, Not a buy sell recommendation
