Adjust the average price

Recently I have transferred some shares from my old broker to new broker. Now when I check with Direct FN TWS, the average price & cost shown as 0. Because the cost is 0 it shows only the market value & shows as a huge profit. This is very confusing. Although I can change the average price manually, when I close & reopen Direct FN TWS, the average price reset to 0.

Although I can adjust the average price for the session with Direct FN TWS, I can't change it in the web interface.

Is there a way to correct this? At least is there a way to save the average price in Direct FN TWS?

Please help.

same story happened to me when vfin sub-division done. If u have details with you, why so much worry about it?

I know the difficulty you are having. You cannot adjust the average cost price by your self. Call the IT department of your broker and give them the details with your NIC and account details. They will do it for you. They will be very lethargic about it but stay on top of them. I just got my CCS price adjusted only yesterday after one month of pestering them. Good Luck!
