That is what the lesson we must learn. When we see red we get excited and keep on selling and as soon as green sign is there start to buy.

Sudda always love to red. If you just see the red days pass sudda bought. Now green is their he will gradually sell part of the thing they bought and will realize a good profit.

Colombo stocks closed in green today and benchmark indices recorded positive returns. ASI closed at 5,059.29, up 61.19 points (+1.22%). MPI closed at 4,505.16, up 43.11 (+0.97%).

Daily market turnover was Rs.533.6mn.

Retail investor interest HVA Foods recorded the top turnover of Rs.50.6mn with heavy trading. Further, Hayleys (Rs.33.1mn) and Carsons Cumberbatch (Rs.23.4mn) contributed notably to the daily turnover. Heyleys recorded a crossing of 98,600 shares at a price of Rs.330.00 per share.

Retail investors were active during the day and hefty retail participation was seen in speculative stocks Meanwhile, PC House and newly debuted Ramboda Falls traded heavily throughout the day. Ramboda Falls was among the top five gainers of the day. The reference price of Ramboda Falls is Rs.10.00. Today the stock closed at Rs.32.90, up Rs.8.80 (+37%). Foreign participation was low at 9.8% of the total market activity. At the end of the day foreign investors were net sellers with a net foreign outflow of Rs.17.0mn.

True. The net outflow is not much, they are buying too..., market PER is very attractive to them (not only them), still it is under 11.

ASPI closed above 5,000 while MPI closed above 4,500 mark today amidst the positive sentiment witnessed across the board. HVA Foods mainly attracted investors while the share price closed at LKR 13.40 gaining 18.58%. Interest was also witnessed in HAYL, PCH and RCL while accumulation continued in CARS. A crossing of 98,600 shares at LKR 330 was recorded pertaining to HAYL.
• Diversified sector contributed mostly to the market turnover while the sector index increased 0.30%.
• Bank, Finance and Insurance sector also contributed to the market turnover while the sector index gained 1.23%.

If they started to sell in huge quantities and bring money back, SLR will fall and they will get less amount of dollars. Search google : China on Dollar trap, France in pound trap
