Can any one discribe the back ground of Dr Sena Yaddehige. Once i heard that he had been a auto mobile engineer at Mercedes Bens, due to a new invention still he was recieving a loyalty. Who was the former owners of Arpico?.
Any way, Mr. sena has made arpico a strong entity, making various investments in different fields. Recently heard that he was gonna start Insurance and finance biz as well.

Yehhh Merill J Fernando should be right up there.. I know nothing about his presence in the CSE,. But he took Dilmah to World`s no1 brand of tea... Even at present it is number 2 if I am not mistaken.. He took Sri Lankan tea to a new dimension.. Starting off as a tea taster and ending up owning world`s no 1 tea brand is a heck of a journey for a biz personality..

CTEA (Dilmah) is a listed company on CSE. And Mr MJF and his sons have some considerable stakes in some listed companies (In Top20 list), although may not a strategic stake.... Ya he was a forerunner of restating Ceylon Tea brand in the global market.

most of others are just businessmans with exploiting lot from poor people or earn money from some unethical business such as gambling,liqor etc.
