Fixed deposit interest rates of combank and sampath bank and orix have increased to around 10% (the three months fixed deposit) do you realize what this mean? Many small investors will be better off by putting their hard earned money in a short term fixed deposit than investing in a falling stock market (which is suicidal at the moment). Some people believe this market will somehow miraculously rise from this situation. I seriously doubt it.

Getting out of CSE and going for FDs is no assurance that you will get the desired results.
What would come in the Next Budget (to tax FDs) nobody knows? Mad

Exiting from the share market with a loss and put that money in a bank is completely a fool idea. Considerable amount of my money has been stuck on shares but I don't do such a fool thing. never!
