The Awards under different categories are conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability and Governance of the published annual reports of entries from South Asian Countries.
SAFA is an apex body of the SAARC region and consists of the institutes of chartered accountants and the institutes of cost and management accountants in the SAARC countries who have come together with the objective of development and coordination of the accountancy profession in the SAARC region.
The award recognised the transparent and accountable manner in which the CCC accounts had been presented.
