Hi all, Has anyone given serious thought on the Mandatory offer of SPEN.
Harry J is offering 110/- per share which is around 20x Forward earnings (2012 March), but the share price has taken a hammering during 2011.
Any experts please share your thoughts... Thanks.

there is nothing to think here since the mandatory offer price is the highest price paid by offeror within the last 12 months which led to the 30% acquisition threshold. In this case 110/-

As at that date, the price has gone past 110/- making it unattractive to retail investors to accept the offer.

With the port expansion projects won by SPEN and earnings in leisure sector will strengthen the bottom line of SPEN.but it is 3-5 years time period I believe.But if they acquire more shares and exceed 80% of issued capital,due to that reason share price will remain at a higher price.
I think Rs110 is attract to investors
