I think it can be categorized as a mid to long term investment.
But this share is considered as a speculative counter also. so there for there will be trading opportunities in short term.

cuz I can see some long-term (over 3yrs) value in REEF with the new hotel projects coming in... Increase in room nights with the new hotels after 3 yrs would make REEF an attractive hotel chain in down south area..
On top of this our tourit arrivals this year being doubled the last year are expected to grow more than 20% next year..

REEF.w19 never gone that much far. As I can remember peak value is 33

I know some people who collected different kind of Reef and also know some people sold different kind of Reef during past few quarters

Sellers were
* Rayanoor Silva (brother of super hero) , Ajit Devasurendra

Buyers
* දිලිත bought big chunks of warrants(100Mn worth) from the profit gained from selling CLND to Kalpitiya
* නිමල් පී collected big amount of warrant 17 (14.5%). Since Sep 30th he is the third largest shareholder(8.5%) of the REEF if Rayanor applied for whole warrants. Some time he had to spend money for his bro
* Thoradeniya, CEO of RCL collected big amount of warrant 18 (15.5%) during last ended quarter.
* Rishan (PC house)

* Also note that LGL and RCL had acquired considerable amount(2.5Mn) of REEF. But that was for business purposes.
