This is something they should/could have done before (as they had so much time to do this) and not make the real market the major experiment test bed.

Is it so hard to run a Test over a weekend with ATS7 active with all Brokers on the other end with dummy accounts?
Is it rocket science to understand that when the minimum quantity box is disabled , 1 share can get sold for orders with 100 or multiples. Are you going to refund the SEc and Broker fees for the odd lot shares sold which we did not want to sell as 1 share ( technical glitch of simply not having a Minimum box enabled). Share sale is Rs 5 but fees are Rs30. Fantastic. ( did not happen to me that bad but it happened to forum members)
I am not sure whether it is MIT fault or they were given direction by CDS to have it that way intentionally.

MIT : It is your responsibility to do thorough testing . It is part of the Software Engineering Life Cycle. Is this how a reputed company behaves?
CDS : It is your responsibility and duty to not make real market your guinea pig. Did you not have months to test this out and come up with simple basics ( I am not talking about issues related to load and queing due to volume etc which might be difficult to test before a real session)
Brokers : It is not your responsibility to think about your personal interest only ( to the hell with customers right) and have to cooperate with MIT & CDS to come up with a better system.

You 3 as a collective team. Is this how responsible parties behave? Wake up.

One thing to add regarding the minimum quantity issue...

It could be that the trading software (like directfn) has disabled this feature and not the new ATS. Someone said that CDAX has the minimum quantity option. If that is the case and if ATS supports this minimum fill option, if all the online tradings systems are upgraded with that minimum fill option, then we'll not have any issue.
If ATS allow minimum fill, then brokers should update(through the SW provider) the trading software to have the minimum quantity option.

BUT I'm not sure whether the new ATS is implemented to support the minimum fill option. If it doesn't support then completely it's decision makers' responsibility. If so, we'll have to wait till they decide to allow minimum quantity or stop trading odd numbers.
