Bloomberg says: "Sri Lanka Stock Market Colombo All-Share Index is a market capitalization weighted index of all the companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. It covers all the traded companies during a market day. The base value is established with average market value as of the year 1985."

I assume that, in the year 1985, the ASI was at 100 - which means the ASI has yielded a CAGR (compounded annual growth rate) of 15.7% since then.

I am not a Technical guy and so do you think that almost 16 % in 30 years is a Good achievement ?
