There are many technical experts in this forum. Can you please indicate how the indices are expected to move during comming weeks.
I too have been holding shares for over 01 year and hope to average a few shares next week. Therefore your comments/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance Smile

I'm not expert.
I can see psychologically the market seems to be bottom out.
Need couple of weeks to ascertain the trend of the market movement.
Only above is my opinion.

Thanks.Yes, totaly agree that couple of weeks needed to ascertain the trend of the market. But the counters might not be at these attractive levels by then. Maybe its upto us to decide and invest. Anyway, the risk would be minimal if we carefully select and enter at these levels i feel.

IMHO waiting for bottom to do investing is very tricky.
If we have the confidence before the bottom or after the bottom, we can play the game.

There is one post regarding this in the forum couple of weeks ago.

Agree with you Redbulls. Also thanks for the post. A superb article by Sriranga. I had read it before and now read it again.
One thing the article advices is to look for shares which heve hit 52 week lows. There are many shares that have touched 52 week lows during last few days.
Another advice is to look for large cap shares which have fallen substantialy during the bear market which have ongoing businesses with good future potential.
Its not hard to find such shares right now. But the investement decesion is all ours. Smile

Are you sure friends that our crazy place is bottom out technically and really?
I have no enough time to analyze those things and I didn't refer to any chart for about 8 weeks.

However, If yes, we must come by it quickly and we must not put off it again which happened in every time when this news received. But there is a question. will this positive situation continue? Or will this be another fake bottom which go down again unexpectedly?
I don't know.

Be careful guys and observe the movement of market before do anything at this unpredictable situation. Don't be greedy. Otherwise you may get your more money stuck on this.

Since abandoned the portfolio game concept , many members have been guessing the market bottom out big time. Now I feel guessing the market bottom is some sort of unofficial game in this forum.

Also there were hundreds of advisors in local broker huts failed to guess it. pig

Earlier this year they were many members advised the rest to do swing tradings. I guess most them washed away with the unpredictable tidal waves. Some said bull run is right at the corner & be ready.

If you go through some of these members posts you will see that one week they say the bear trend is over and next week they say the bear market continues..! Whatever happens to the market it looks like these guys never failed..!It’s so hilarious.

To be honest I enjoy reading these posts. ( when I’m really bored & do nothing)

In 31/12/2011 quarter report 2,122,860,000 has been added as Fair Value Adjustment on Investment Property, without that profit would have been very very low.

With strong bear trend the speculative traders and short term members vanished little by little. The forum is a small representation of CSE. Some of the controvertial and fun post makers have vanished with the wave.

One fine day all these people will come back ( when the bull starts) to make merry.

Bottomed out could be a relative concept. For example a person who would have bought shares in December 2010 (I think) would have thought happily that he bought when the market was at the bottom. But now the pit is deeper.
