Inconsistent economic policies, enforce over night without even discussing with relevant stake holders. Incompetency in economic management from top to bottom is the main contributory factor.

Recent S&P reports have given the reasons such as lack of transparancy, inconsistant policies etc.

The topic given is incorrect as I feel. It should be Why Sri Lankan investors away from etc.

Reason is that nearly 24 bl foreign investment have already come to Sri Lanka during the first half of the year.

Investors ARE investing in Sri Lanka directly by buying lands, building hotels etc. They don't have to go through the stock market.
If you take the CSE there's nothing much in it, neither enough size of it or a selection of companies. Shares foreign inflow went up tremendously because of the central bank forced the EPF to sell the share portfolio to foreigners. And also foreigners stopped selling heavily because locals are not buying at high prices like those days.
