The All Share Price Index gained 61.74 points to close at 4,908.19 up 1.27 percent while the Milanka Index of more liquid stocks gained 141.41 points (3.23percent) to close at 4514.03 and the S&P index of large cap stocks rose 39.57 points (1.45 percent) to close at 2768.84.

This market only moves up with resignations. Otherwise remains flat or downward.Hope the new SEC head will strike a balnace between regulatory frame work at CSE and those who want the market to move high. If Thilak has to go so let it be....but the question remains we had now 3 heads rolled at the highest level of SEC.Can the new SEC head do the job.
