For the amt of shares u get, u'll have to wait till it reaches 100 to sell and mark a decent gain Wink

or may be u can buy on the first day and keep several days to appreciate it.. I believe there could be investor interest on this and that will drive the market up...

With the Union Bank trading, most probably SAMPATH will up. More possible SAMP to hit Rs.300/- plus, because of SAMP having Union Bank shares.

Hey,
I'm new to online trading, so far I had not seen the Union bank shares updated on my online portfolio (and 1st trdng day is Tuesday??). I know I was allotted the min amout as the balance was refunded. Do you know when they generally update? And I suppose the broker firm is doing it without requiring my intervention right? Mine is SC Securities.

I also did not see the union bank shares in my portfolio yet..my broker is bartleet...Do I have to consult the broker regarding this ?

Mine was added today morning. Checked after reading this post and it was there. I think they added after the announcement of the trading date.
Better to check with some one who is using the same broker. If that person's portfolio is updated, will have to call and see. Otherwise most probably they'll add it monday. If it's not there by monday morning better to call and check.

Hope someone who is trading with you two's brokers will reply to this. Smile

my broker too says they update after 5pm. But I never see any update till next day morning 9am. (may be that's how it works. they update it but we see only after 9am)..

In your systems do you get to see any updates immediately they do in the evening or night ? (just to get an idea how other systems works Smile

)

For me one broker used to update in the evening generally between 5 to 7, other two used to update around 11 pm

I never see anything updated till next day..!! Even the tradings I do during the latter part of the morning! Seriously thinking of changing to a different broker with CDax, any advice??

Will have to check with my broker on Monday...I also have thoughts of changing the broker due to their system. Sometimes orders get filled, but they are not updated in the portfolio within the same day..It is updated to the portfolio only on the next day...

That's true about the portfolio update. But I believe in that case still we can sell the order we purchased on the same day (day-trading) as far as our order is already filled.... (even without the portfolio update)
