There a was time speculative ruled the market. Some became millionaires with certain shares.
Also the same shares would have made some go broke recently. Even HNWI are in trouble due to them

Unless you are a very experienced player, I suggest you do not play with speculatives in this environment. Though you might have thought and regretted with some speculatives that went up recently " I could have made fast money", these same speculatives can cause you big heart aches. When the big investors find their buyer at their prices and sell off that might be the end for it for a while. So don't buy at top of rallies.

The market is much different than those days. Though market will always find suckers ( no offence) lot of people already got burnt and are smarter now. So it is not too easy to have massive runs with speculative like they used to. Why? People are aware of these shares and SEC is too so manipulative efforts will be difficult.

So if you are genuinely "investing" with patience to hold and not gambling, go for fundamentally strong stocks and counters . There are plenty of good stocks on offer. Search the forum. Don;t chase crap shares and get burnt again . 10% chance you can be a winner and 90% chance you can be a big loser specially if you do not know what you are doing. So be careful and won;t loose track of investing in real value shares even if occasionally certain speculative raise their head and you may get distracted.

Timely post but Getting burned is also part of the experience (if you want to invest in CSE).

This is not a 1st time or last time of such a drop of bourse.

if you could remember it has been shown half of someone’s portfolio value 2 or 3 time post war era market.

Only solution is hold your stock until it reach to profitable level don’t forget this world is not going to end this year or next year

look at the fundamentals any of the companies do worst during the last year CSE will pick up gradually but surely.

Bernard Baruch interpreted speculators as "...A person who observes and acts before it occurs"

and Jess Livermore defined inevstor this way " Investors are the big Gamblers, they make a bet, stay with it, and if it goes wrong , they lose it all"

Whatever you are learn from the mistakes

Index gained from 4850 to 5150 ( 300 points) now. SO buying certain shares at the top of cycles can be dangerous.

Listening or not listening is certainly up to them. Gambling and not gambling is up to them also.

Am just doing community service to 90% people who can become victims due to inexperience.

I do not want to stop certain people from "missed" opportunities with speculatives as they can go up due to pushes from time to time. I do not wish to stop natural market cycles. So if you want to gamble or you know what you are doing no problem. Go for it.

Again am just saying more than the % who wins there will be more who lose with certain shares if you do not know what you are doing. Market is different from 2010-2011.

There are two ways to learn a lesson ;-). one has the choice to pick.

Investor are big gamblers? Define investors and what kind of shares. Investors in mushroom like VAnik or ( GXXX) or investors in blue chips that were there for decades and have shown YoY growth during difficult times also?

By the way any share can go up time to time due to various reasons. DO you want to it be holding it at the top specially if know that that it may take decades for the company to grow to that valuation?

How long will it take XXXX to hit XXX again?
