Analists say next breaking point will be at 6300 ..and all are hopeful of breaking this barrier ..
There after they say it will go till 7700 and if it passes that barer ...all say ASPI may rise to a high as much as 10000 by end of 2012 ...

Those who paniced and sold when it was bottoming are now day by day buying for higher prices and this trend will continue and soon there will be further relaxsatiosn coming from the SEC ..

Most of the demands tabled at the meeting with HE president in JUYL will come real soon ..................

This is the real time to invest for short and long term but with care ...

Sanju don;t give figures like 10000, so people will not take you seriously.

Let take one step at a time.

Frankly I think we are not ready yet to break previous high so soon, as some more positive factors and quarterly results needs to further improve. Let the fundamentals also catch up /confirm after this run so there will be reason.

Some correction, consolidation, and slower and steadier progress will be best after this run. This run is more of a fast recovery of severely beaten down market with help by some for sentiments change.
I will be happy if sept will be mostly green and if these steep rises a day will slow down .

Else if it rises too fast it will not be good thing and will give reason for negative people, fast prfit taking and negativity to creep in .

If index heavy Big boy shares go up like this ASI 6300- 6600 is a piece of cake. This too is not healthy as there are still lot of share that really did not increase that much even over NAV.

More than analyzing it is guesswork. If you analyze the companies listed in the ASPI you can just work out the prices those shares should gain for the ASPI to reach 10,000.

Wishful thoughts flee without warning. All are eagerly waiting to see how the next hurdle placed at 6300 is technically jumped over. Some argue that market steadiness is still skeptical considering the uninterrupted movement in the past three weeks. Fallen hurdle slows down both speed & energy perhaps missing the target.

Any thing can happened. I don' t wonder if It goes to 10000. Two months back, Who did believe ASI will reach to 6000 at this month, Some were dreaming to buy shares at ASI 3000. Very Happy

And now some people are dreaming to sell at 10000.

my guess is it will reach 12000, may be in 2013 or maximum 2014

my calculation is..

last bear market bottom was 1490, it went to7500. that is 5 times of bear market bottom.

this time bear market bottom is 4700, and if you take 50% of previous bull market growth of 5, it is 2.5 times.

2.5 times of bear market bottom 4700 =close to 12000.

This is possible..!! ( But probably in the worse way)
If someone can splash about 3.0 billions this can be achievable.

Just for sake of entertainment let me explain my plan in brief. Also please note that I did not go far in calculations.

ASI 10,000 can be achievable by buying BINN..! Yes BINN has only 900,000 shares and unlike other extremely illiquid shares you do not need to negotiate with many parties to get the max number of shares.

* 1st round you need to negotiate with top four share holders and buy thier shares while agree to clear off debt.
spend 400 million- you get 86% percent of the company.

* 2nd round- XXXXXXXXXXX ( collect much as possible from open market without moving the price much). Then mandatory offer 1

* 3rd round- offer an ubearble right issue. XXXXXXX.Whoever hold the shares will sell their stakes in open market. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

* Eventually the share price of BINN will trade around Rs 1.5 million. So BINN's market cap is 1350 billions.

Please please note above just a weird idea came to my mind.

You can achieve the same by launching an new IPO with very illiquid nature ( with a plan).

10000 will come at some point but to say in 2012 was an extreme.

Let worry about 6300 and 7000 first this year.
