anyone know any undervalue stocks that will be a good long term investment ive analyzed so many companies
but they all seem to be highly overvauled ? is this the case for all the listed companies ?

thanks guys

i agree that power and energy will be a good buy i havnt analyzed the figures yet but will do soon

i dont think climate change will affect the industry however might benefit from going into renewable energy such as the windmill
project etc which i heard are real cash cows

any particular company might be good buy ?
hows hemas power or vallibel power ?

My bet is #PAP and I have mentioned some of the factors to consider in one of my previous posts. It's currently trading around Rs.4.30. (If you are interested in #PAP try to enter around Rs.4.10 to optimise your ROI) But please do more study.

HPWR is undervalued in Power sector.
CFIN, LFIN, DFCC, NDB, NTB are undervalued in banking sector.
BFL, RAFL and Coco in F&B.
Haycarb in chemicals.
RICH and CSEC in diversified.
NHL in healthcare.
RHL in Investment Trust.
GLAS, LLUB, RCL, TYRE, TKYO in manufacturing.
BRWN in trading.

All are my personal analysis for my purpose based on EPS. Just wanted to share. Others may have different opinions which i would like them to share.

Undervalued stocks dont nessearly to be move up soon..
There are reason those undervalued stocks to have low PER values..
so better to understand those reasons before buy undervalued counters by not only looking at PER values.

Nothing personal buddy, just wondering if ICASAL has dropped their standards a bit to release accountants into the world without the knowledge of basics as PER. You don't need to be an analyst to know it, and you don't even need to be a school graduate to type it into google.

wiki has a decent explanation of PER

read through it.

U can't find the upto date per of most CSE companies online. I usually calculate it manually by looking at financial reports.

Another important thing in places lie sri lanka is quarter by quarter or year by year growth. i usually look at both of these elements

Actually i wanted PER in context of Sri Lanka and CSE listed comapnies. not the general meaning of PER. any way i will try on manual calculation..
