Singer Finance PLC recently appointed two of the country’s most respected business personalities to its Board of Directors. The addition of Ms. Marina Tharmaratnam and J.A. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Fellow of Institute of Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Renowned for his dedication to financial transparency and stakeholder rights, Setukavalar is a veteran of Sri Lankan boardrooms. He is the Finance Director and Company Secretary at Baur& Company for 22 years, and also served as a Finance Director at Fern Tea Ltd., and as a Audit Manager at PriceWaterHouseCoopers in Dubai. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Fellow of CharteredInstitute Management Accountants (UK and Sri Lanka).
