I said this previously atleast 3 times in the forum. In the past there were pre-budget runs ( few day/very short term).

I don;t have the magic ball ( I wish did) but can there be another this year too?

This is not to say there will be one for sure. I do not know. If there is Very Happy

Though I am not an expert, I too feel the market is giving a positive signal. Hope it will continue to the next week. Could be short term. Very Happy

Also the once over bought market ( which some of us repeated about when ASi was 5900-6000) has now turned to be near over sold . Now it is lower neutral and nearing over sold. Interesting situation.

It would be a very interesting period. Could you please share the information on the indicators or a graphical view. Thanks.

I think we can expect a run because of two reasons. First is the 2013 Budget is round the corner. Secondly, Relaxation of credit rules and changing rules on trading by brokers. After the previous run a market correction was expected. However brokers continuously force sold shares triggering a panic selling pushing the market to an oversold region. I think brokers reaped the maximum benefit of changing of rules, as they collected cheap as much as possible to their own ( or perhaps nominee) accounts. This was evident as large buy orders were instantaneously filled with force selling. With the change of rules I expected a market run driven mainly by brokers, as the market is running out of trades now and technically market is in a oversold region, and brokers can pump and dump what they have collected.

The signal was appearing since yesterday. There is a possibility Mr.Market to reach 5730 with recent trend reversal. (According to the Fib retracement) Becoz it took the turn approx FIB 38.2.
I may be wrong.

Here's the ASI chart as of today;

Some believe Fib 38.2% support is 5500 but I believe in the Fib levels that is visually inspected by myself hence as per the latest graph I see the 38.2% support falls at 5475 where it has not touched yet but showed today an uptrend after falling from 5500 levels marginally. (DFN data also has its own issues so we have to take these values with extreme care)

RSI and MACD indicate we're nearly oversold now. If the trend continues, MACD may cross the signal line again over the 0 line in coming days and also SAR has to fall under the price levels to consider as buy (technically).

This time I'm not scolding brokers if they've done that. Our guys should know their limits not to buy on credit, use lesser margins as possible which they could cover.
We've been repeatedly educating the members in this forum never to use credit..

Its happening there.Brokers always fix high quantity force selling orders with buying order from their favorite a/cs.one time it happened to me log time back(more than 1 year).I brought the problem to their MD attention also.nothing happened...

However i have learned some thing.so best thing to use less credit...max 10-20%.
When trend confirmed bullish we can go 30-35% credit.
