Today I saw some one is asking about 200,000 shares at 35 rupees.
I jumped in and buy 3900 shares offered at 35.10 at that time thinking that if somebody is going to buy 200,000 shares it should be a good choice.
Is it a good move ......... I can hold it for 6 months even one year in worst case.
Will it go below 35???
I am new to stock market Your comments are welcome so I can play the game in future

I did not say some one has bought 200,000 shares.
Some one (or few together) was asking for 200,000 share at 35 rupees.

I think they have collected bit at 35 rupees level

ok thanks. How do u know it were splits .. Please let me know how can I check that.

Any way at that time demand was 200,000 at 35 rupees and supply was about 5000 at 35.10

Any way I do not think I am going to make huge loss...
May be I will be able to make some profit if I am lucky...

according to some experts it's not worth at 35 even. (anyway compared to me your loss will be very small. I bought around 42 ) lol!
Let's wish that it'll go up Smile but no idea how long it'll take..

Thanks.
I use asia security direct FN it doesn't show like this.

To make you happy I have a good news after I bought shares (lol) I contacted my broker and he said it will go up to 50 new few months time.
I am not sure but hold on to your shares if possible for at least few months rather than selling at a loss

Ask someone who is using direct FN, whether there's a way to check the splits.

Smile thanks, yes many people say that it'll go up to 50, with that hope I'm keeping some (but already sold some at a loss)

I don't know if it would go up to 50 or what...

but i can show you were u can see how many splits in DFN. Refer the screen shot below.

Union Bank Captur10

You should always look how many splits are there. I remember of ECL there was a big (about 2 million shares) buy order at 21.50 LKR as i remember from one person. And after that order is filled the subdivision announcement was made. then the prices rocked up to 29 LKR. 21.50 LKR was bit higher than the average share price at that time....
