ACQUISITION OF THE STOCK BROKING FIRM, HNB STOCKBROKERS (PVT) LTD

12 October 2009

The Board of Directors of Environmental Resource Investments PLC (ERI) wishes to confirm that the acquisition of the Stock Broking Firm DNH Financial (Pvt) Ltd (formerly known as HNB Stock Brokers (Private) Limited) was finalized on 9th October 2009 at a total consideration of Rs.151,413, 416.25 , which is the adjusted net asset value of the Company as at July 2009. This acquisition has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka and the Colombo Stock Exchange.

The Board of ERI further wish to confirm that the name of the Said HNB Stock Brokers (Private) Limited was changed to DNH Financial (Private) Limited on 7th October 2009.

JINS has 1M shares of CFVF. Other than that, I can’t see any relationship with JINS and CFVF. If you want to reap the benefit, it is better to invest on CFVF directly. Even through CSEC is not worth to me.
