Problems in Bangaladesh will help the industry here.

Also read somewhere that Disney Company is going to stop sourcing from Pakistan and Bangaladesh because of bad compliance to regulations.

My deepest sympathy for the people who scarifies their lives in this tragedy..

On the other hand this is a good opportunity for us to capitalize.. Bangladesh enjoy the GSP+ facility and some of factories moved to Bangladesh from SL, once we lost it. time to reconsider GSP+ facility from the EU.. This will help to increase export earnings

first of all we can't compare bangladeshi garment industry to sri lanka garment trade. we are 500000 strong work force and shrinking. Bangladesh is 3.5 million workforce and growing. what i understand is our fabric suppliers are struggling meet even this slight demand of increase in short term. We have only four mills at the moment. (TJL, Ocean Lanka, MGT and South Asia) What I heard is all of them struggling to supply demand. I do not think without work force increase we are not going to get much advantage in this situation. So this company's perform well but as industry we have reach to the saturation point
