What is happening here?

For some it may seem like nonsense but others like the idea of publishing the reports early..

If u see a good report in any of your holding counters, wouldn't any of u go grab few more before others see it and start buying?

Its all our perception

Yes, they save the report file in the server before they place the link in the home page. ( this is natural for any site) . If you go directly to the server and search you can get the report hours before you see it in the web site. That means you get information before others.
But, it is a tremendous effort. You have to guess the dates and do the searching one by one.

Slstock (& others ? ) have done it for the sake of us. Members of this forum got the access to some reports well before the general public. A Million dollar effort. You know what I mean. ?

This is what happening in the news section also. (Nowadays from Island newspaper before from Sunday Times by couple of members used to post)

I can see majority are against me. Right sorry for any negative feelings created friends.

But in every time when an advise is given for the benefits of the forum as per my knowledge ADMINS in this site do not like to see it positively. They always try to see it differently.

By now two of my posts have been removed without nothing. I just mentioned some advises in those posts. Is this Sri Lankan style?

Was your recent "advice" for the benefit of the forum? Please tell me how?

Worst case for you , was not to read it.
But what about others who want the info earlier than others and also participate in a discussion? Read what other people posted.

Won't they miss the opportunity if we go by your "advice" ?

Why disclose and share our extra efforts and then get blamed also right?

I did not remove anything. But if a Mod removed it , they maye have had a good reason.
If something was removed

a)first check your whether you are violating any of the forum rules, or breaking ethics
b) if you still feel injustice was done then you can post a messase on the thread asking why it was removed

Ya it is a great work. Even during 2010 we had a chane to have daily gain becoz of this advace update. Do not let it down if you are not intrested.

sriranga,k.haputantri and few others were doing wonderful job in this forum by posting links but if every body starte to do this it will be not so healthy for this forum. I think stock hunter did post this thread with good faith. Lets try to digest constructive criticism and encourage this type of people to contribute more for the forum. For this matter early report links matter, read the reasons given once again. Read the comments by others. Even Stock Hunter acknowledged . . You are still sticking to you original opinion without even reading the facts behind the posts. Also this is once in 3 month "issue".

Construtive critisim by Stocks Hunter or anyone in the forum is always welcome .But if some person states things without giving convincing reasons, due to not understanding or their personal ideology it is hard to agree with them right?

Actually it is public when the information is in the CSE website. Just that you have to go search for it.

First did you know we listed the reports here before CSE made news annoucements ( 3-4 hours later) some times the next working day. Once a report is uploaded to CSE it is official. Whether they announce it 4 hours later or next day and you want to wait till then is your issue.

There is nothing absoltely wrong in posting a link that is listed on an official site. If they did not want it made public then they would have blocked with "permissions" setting.

Wappula , I don;t know who you are talkign about . But as I was also one involved in this , I dont; like your below comment hinting indirectly that these posts we did as service to the forum is indirect promotions. ( I will leave Gaja and Gainer to defend themsevles) .
I don't even own most of those shares. Usually I post comments on every thread I make . But this time there were too many reports as yesterday was last day of the month. But did make some comment on some. Priority was to get the reports out below CSE announces them in 3-4 hours later or next day to give edge to the forum.

I too don't like to be blamed after volunteering time for the betterment for this forum.


Summary :

1) I have now reduced posting sahre analysis in the forum like old days. Useless posting research as free public service yhen to get blamed later and where I can benefit on my own.

Those people who knew about my suggestions on ESL at Rs 20 and TFIL at Rs 13 will know what I am talkign about. ( those are fundamental share with intrinsic value)


2) Further more I think here after I should not post my "early" findings reports. It will save my time especially, give myself an edge and spare all these unnecessary comments.


I think people here is making issues out of nothing just so they can.

U read my post again fella.. I think ur intelligent enuf to understand what I mean.. Just cuz u saw a annoying word in a reply, dont get attached to it...
We take things positively most of the time.. We allowed freedom of speech and when others violated such and even went an extra mile to scold ADMINS, we were so cool..

But u only saw the dark side of something.. Others expressed the good side of it.. So accept the fact that sometime what we see an 'non important' (I changed my word) can eve become important in many ways that we dont thing.

Just a curiosity why can't lock this thread and utilise all our precious time in discussing other CSE related matters?

Yes if this gets out of hand without any basis , that will be the next step. I wanted Gaja to see or comment on this.


The time wasted here I really regret. After doing service I don;t want to be part of a team that gets blamed. That why I explaiend even this much in detail so other will understand what they will miss if these thread were not there.
