Can we discuss merits & demerits

very law business risk!
But, decision like buying Galadari stake can put the company in severe strain!

Is the management trustworthy?
Will there be any likely division among the brothers which could endanger the future prospects?

If the proceeds are to be used elsewhere, like acquisition and developing new hospitals in other cities then it is bit risky. Also it will be a long term investment.
If they are to use it in upgrading the existing building then its a good idea. Only problem is there is no enough space for a new building though the demand is increasing.
And I still think its still is a family business with fathers, uncles and niece, nephews. (One thing I noticed is the big boys have left their wives to do the household chores and they are not in the director board)
And still the D brothers have the say in any important thing.

Even a small investor can invest, if he feel the rate is good, since the minimum amount needed is only 10,000/=

Yes there are some finance comapanies too which give similar rates. I guess we'll have to weigh in the risk factor and then the ability to 'sell' the debentures and/or realize capital gains IF the debt market becomes more liquid
