Relax, this is just the initial announcement. A week before August 29th the prospectus and the application will be available on the CSE upcoming listing page.

I was expecting higher coupons considering this is a finance company.

How does it affect t the profitability? Will cheap capital reduce finance cost? What are they going to do with new capital? Anybody who has more details kindly share.

That means there will be mediate effect to the bottom line. Very good. But borrowing capital most suitable for investments as I feel.

In simple, this is not attractive, i see quite higher risk despite ratings. Ratings only one side of the story, you need to see the size & its client base.

You see Nawaloka or HNB is much better option.

Nawaloka is a hospital, i don't want to tell you , just go on a evening & see its business. Numbers tell you the erst of story - refer 1Q2014 report.

HNB is a big bank, systematically important. looks very sound.

Softlogic Finance coupon rate is attractive considering the risk profile vs rate, when compared to Singer finance

There are some talks about Softlogic Finance

At least, SFIN is professionally managed without interference from any major shareholders

I don't know about Softlogic Finance

I also think there is not much risk in investing Softlogic than Singer finance. Because Softlogic backed by good Diversified Holding company called Softlogic Holdings(SHL). Asiri Hospital Holding also under SHL.

SHL is a good set of business & it has lots of potential, but their profitability is quite low yet.

SHL has made LKR 39 million only , last quarter. SFIN being small company has made more than that.

The Singer Finance Debenture issue has been fully subscribed closing at 4.30 pm today as per cse filing.This has had no effect in the share price.The share closed at Rs 11.40 today. Could any one enlighten us in regard to this situation
