HPFL : FY11 profit down 6% yoy to Rs.70 m; FY11 fully diluted EPS of Rs0.65

FY11 results affected by IPO costs and lightning damage at one plant

IPO in October 2010 raised Rs.350 m, but funds yet to be utilized in new projects, remaining as cash

Director related entities and persons dominate major shareholder list

Share does not seem particularly attractive at Rs14 based on fundamentals – better value may exist in other stocks in sector such as HPWR

HPFL is fairly valued to the current market price. But we have to carefully monitor how they utilize IPO funds.

HPWR and PAP are attractive to the current market price. But we have re-evaluate PAP once they release the interim report.

agree : with the absence of the Q.Reports , the only thing we know on PAP is there were series of coressings. Last one on 18th march for 60,000,000 shares at a price of 4.50

PAP is more attractive to me than HPFL..........

Net Profit-QTR (Rs. Million)-22.14
Cumulative- (Rs. Million)-70.39

annualized EPS is around 0.70..........
