Hi I am new, I have bought shares such as DIPD, EXPO, TKYO etc. People are saying to sell when reports are out. What should I sell? Shouldnt the price go up since they are supposed to have good reports?

Generally what happens the share price is likely to shoot up as soon as positive report comes out. This is a good time to sell at a higher price. When buyers pileup eventually they will drag down the price. This strategy is good if you want to book profits and move on to other shares.
If you are investing for long term then you can hold if you see the companies have future potential.
All 3 companies you mentioned have future potential.

Yes, I agree...all the above 3 shares have a bright future in long term. Holding them would be a smart thing to do unless if you are satisfied with your profits.. you can exit as well.
EXPO - has the potential to touch 100+
DIPD - 1000+
TOKYO - 150+
