It's only in ATS. Normally they should have announced it in CSE web site also. But in this case nothing in CSE website.

When they lifting the suspense also they should have announce it in advance, indicating the lifting time.

Disclosure procedures are violating heavily these days and no action either.

Its because they have an announcement it seems - if its good news, TWOD price will go up to 7-8 levels!

The Colombo Stock Exchange on Friday said that it has imposed a Trading Halt on Troubled forestry management company Touchwood Investments pending a disclosure from the company regarding media reports on the back of Thursday’s annual general meeting.

This is the third time trading has come to a halt and it came early morning – about an hour into trading. The share gained by more than 50 per cent witnessing enormous retailer participation on Thursday.

The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the company and about a week ago and the regulator suspended its trading twice for three days each time.

On Wednesday Touchwood announced changes to its directorate with the appointment of a football administrator amidst some bizarre developments which included the appointment of controversial parliamentarian deleted Silva, who is a suspect in a murder case.

Touchwood saw its share price slump following attempts to wind up the company, and the company said that it would vigorously defend a ‘winding up’ petition. The company’s deputy chairperson S. Maloney, said a petition has been filed in the High Court to wind up the company in respect of a sum of Rs. 3 million that the company allegedly owes the petitioner D.L.R. Nanayakkara. She said the company has already filed an affidavit of objection against the petition.

CSE done the right thing because directors cant guaranty about future price of the share without disclosing the possible reasons for it to the cse.How these ppl say about future prices?This is totaly manipulation and violation of good governance.

Maloneys stepping down is mere hog wash !!! they are doing everything behind the scene. be careful when trading with cIFL and twod until such time some concrete steps are taken to turn these companies around. they will have to be re named and rebranded if things are to improve considering all the negative publicity...who will invest ?
