Welcome to the forum. Please do a search on PCH as there are so many posts on it.

SHL : Well burger king revenue is not going to bring lot of profit for SHL. So don;t buy on that. Also it takes times for such ventures to make profit. Their Healthcare sector is the work horse for SHL right now. SHL price right now is not bad . This was once Rs 28 ( a crime at IPO). If SHL can reduce their debt and make profits grow this looks like a good long term share. But always keep watching if the company is too heavily debted.

SHL is an excellent share - Asiri is opening a new hospital in Kandy - that will bring in more income. Burger King will bring profits but not huge ones. Movenpick hotel should also do well with tourism doing well. I agree with the comment above - if they strategically reduce loans (interest rates coming down so its good for SHL), this is an excellent share. IPO was over priced but now is a good opportunity. I see this share at 18-20 in 2 years time if debt reduced and new ventures do well.

I think you think of PCH, because of the nature of the low share price. But the risk that associates with PCH is huge. On the other hand you may think with the up turn in the market cents .20-.30 appreciation might give you a handsome return. But my point is, at the end of the day what matters is the % you get for your investment. And also you can keep your head cool if you put your money in a good share..
For SHL there are other reasons than burger king.

Earn some profit and invest part of it in such a share. So even if you loss, no much worries.

If bull continues all shares can go.

The outcome of Delisting:

A company can delist on a voluntary basis or the company will have to be delisted due to the Company being wound up by a court order due to bankruptcy.
If a company is delisted on a voluntary basis, the company offers an exit option to the existing shareholders. Most of the instances the major shareholder of the company gives the existing shareholders an offer to buy their shares. At this offer the existing shareholders get an option to sell their shares. In the event a shareholder does not wish to sell his / her shares, he /she will be issued a share certificate once the company is delisted.

If a company is delisted due to a winding up order by a court due to bankruptcy, the available funds will be distributed amongst the existing shareholders and as such they will be compensated based on the decision given by the court. But, if the company does not have funds to settle any of its dues, the shareholders of such company will not receive any money for the shares they hold in the Company being wound up.

In both the above cases the responsibility lies solely with the company in carrying out the decided process. The CSE is only the facilitator to the process.
