Please don't mislead, Biggest shareholders are on the selling side since last two weeks, you can see it in the next qtr results.

They bought them around 20Rs, so its almost 100% return for their trading accounts.

Hope you know what fund on the selling.

Comparing newest quarter results also volumes of top 20 has reduced.

I'd say this is a good result. go through the financial statements. They have done well.
Still good company to hold.

I feel so happy to hear financial statements are not good. but sometimes this is confusing. some members say it is good.

lioc good result.. more than 150% gain in short term deposits and other short term assets.. that's good for company.. expecting 3 - 4.5 devident for year 2014.. day by day lioc rising..

It would be a healthy run if LIOC goes through a major correction in short run, where some can close with profit on selling pressure more and more and consolidate thereafter.

There is one nice fact in the balance sheet of LIOC

Stated Capital....Rs 7,576,574,000

Cash in Hand......Rs 8,757,743,000

Means the owners can at any moment take the entire amount of money they have invested in the company while the business is running....

The headlines of Daily Mirror today (23 May 2014) ...CPC LOSSES RS 8.3 BILLION...

Oh Indian government the main owner of LIOC will be very happy to see this situation

Now people will start selling LIOC until price is corrected. Most people have got rightly what would be that price, i would like be more pessimistic than those targets.
But one should understand market has other ideas, and start moving up beyond and surprises all of us .....

Interesting to see how does it absorb in to the market. My portfolio is well balance I do have LIOC too. but I wont sell it easily. I wont sell things easily as I am not a short term trader. I don't take decisions based entirely on Financials statements. it only helps me to see where does the company heading long term. In this scenario, LIOC done OK.

When we look at at the Macro picture, LIOC has won the consumers hearts, Investors Hearts. world oil prices and currency also supportive to their long term journey. their competitors doing and acting as headless zombies. technically company NAV, EPS.. etc not bad either. Therefore, even though there is a short term pull back, I don't think I should short what I have got and buy again.
