there are any other quarterly reports also published today other than PCH. Because no announcement is available up to now

I just went there because of the Nizam story in the page to check a quarterly report.
There were idiots trying to teach me PEG ratios about PCH when they made loss quarter to quarter. There was a guy in my Facebook trading page posting PCH hit Rs 60 in 25 days like 1 month back when I asked plz give reasons I was told "Pundithayanta etande Yana ba".

I just wish there were no 50% maxx down or up rule in CSE. Lets whait and c what story about over 200% profit story they have. I thougth they might give another 5-6 month earning report like they did for there 1st quarterly Very Happy

mmh. i'm having a different view. they did good. but recent appreciation was pure manipulation. i think Mr. Nizam and MarketWatch( irrespective of being same person) are not manipulators. if this result can bring PCH down to 15~16 level I will enter this. even this is below our retailers expectation, Its above my expectation.

gaja,

only way I know is google 'CSE + share code' and it will give (most of the times) the links to particular profile page at CSE.

click it and then to financial link and see whether they have posted a new report.

eg: CSE BALA , CSE KGAL

Many instances I found they place the pdf well before the announcement.

Few times this method helped me to know before others and take decisions.

he said what he believe. generally he comment strongly when he fond with a stock. i agree that he push the stock. but did he mention when it pass DPL price? this is a good lesson for easy money seekers in CSE!

we all know sri lankan retailer mentality . just look at those junk soap operas which shows around 8pm to 10 pm . people are living in a virtual reality . and some big multimillionaires benefit with this wild mental behavior . and this where you need strict LAW SYSTEM . LIKE IN SINGAPORE . other then that we never see a control on manipulation . period.

Why should we follow anyone and fall into traps.. some ppl bring good discussions on to the table and its upto us to find out the credibility of those and carry out further studies for investment decisions...

we all rely on what we belief, but it doesn't mean u gotta rely on some one else's belief..

You are probably looking at the 9 month figure. There they appear to have done well , but please do deduct the dramatic reduction in finance cost and you have a growth of 14 million, which probably something many of the retailers on that stretch of the galle road easily managed. Remember, they probably paid off the loans with IPO funds. Other companies paid off loans with cash generated.

When you look at the last quarter. You see that EPS has grown by 1 cent.

so we need educated Sri lankan or educate Sri Lankan about capital market. not more rules. market should be filled with all type of players.

my reputation is going down just like on Monday PCH share price. but i'm commenting about what i believe. Razz

i'm not saying he is 100% correct. but people had to learn from GREG, even now from PCH. people never learn. it is sad!

yeap i don't like rules either thats why i don't like even work in a office .i don't even like the office culture . but in sri lanka WE BADLY NEED RULES . WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF PEOPLE ARE NOT WILLING TO LEARN AND DO THE NAUGHTY THINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
just look our local roads where people crossing the road as they own it. i don't like to fight with these kind of people . only way to stop these kind of things are by a strong legal system .
pardon me for exaggerating on these topic but i truly see a real future in sri lanka and want to see good educated law abiding citizens like in singapore .

The fact that PCH was caught in the band is clear indication that even the SEC knew that this was being manipulated. Lets hoped that they will take stern action this time.
