good. but not for sudden miracles. if they succeed with their plans, we can observe continuous development Q to Q. observe the earning minimum of 1 year then you can identify the direction. but, to me, at the moment this is a share that can give 50% return in 1 year with 70% probability.

anyway, this is at IPO price isn't it?

FLCH is at present mainly a play on plantations (near term outlook is cloudy due to wage hike and global commodity concerns), and its strong promoters (aloysius - Perpetual - LOLC - BRWN).

FLCH is not comparable with CSEC or HUEJ.

CSEC is a bet on the ability of the controlling Schaffter family to do more deals on their group companies, and get more value from subsidiaries KDL and CFVF. CSEC sold LAMB in late 2010.

HUEJ is just a loss making, but very illiquid company where the shares are easily manipulated.

I'm no fortune teller either, but with wage hikes certain from April 2011, most plantation results for June and Sept quarters may not be as good as March quarter, unless commodity prices rocket upward again.

if wage negotiations get delayed, impact of wage hike in accounts can get delayed a bit, but higher wages will be backdated from April 2011.

Rubber is still preferred to tea, but remember to look at valuations, and ask if higher risk involved in plantations is adequately reflected by way of lower valuation.

If you love your hard earn money...then never even think about stocks like HUEJ
..! its only a shell.....nothing in it to prove a market value of even RS 100/-......but surely its a stock for gamblers
