A good share to collect at around 35 levels

* I think this is one of the most illiquid stocks in the plantation sector as of 30.06.2014 public holding is 5.46%
* Mainly into Tea
* NAV is 43
* I am expecting a good return ROI on this share (40%)

I also went through the results for 2009/2010 where there was a plantation rally as the company did well they issued a dividend of Rs:2...There is a possibility to give out a dividend next year may be not Rs:2

Happy Trading

@indi009

I agree with MARKETWATCH2 it has more upside potential but this share has gone up from around 17 levels to 27 so I feel the drop is due to profit taking.

ELPL is a well diversified plantation company

* Tea, rubber, palm oil and commercial forestry
* Hydro Power generation as well as per the latest annual report the second hydro power project was completed and the total power generation capacity is 1.5 MW.
* Ventured into Eco-Tourism
* NAV more than 41
* Dividend per share is increasing
* Public Holding 16.95%
* EPS as of 31.03.2014 is 4.69

I went through some of the past reports

Period ended 30.03.2010 highest market price was 56
Period ended 30.03.2011 highest market price was 48

I believe this is worth more than 40

Happy Trading...

Agree. Wait for the real bull market. Follow the trend, price action and support levels. Trend is friend. ELPL,UDPL, HAPU may pass Rs.50 and Rs.60 gradually. HVA had strong support from Rs.9 level. Today it is up. MADU, BOPL up.

Not relevant here. LFIN and NDB also up. Why? Strong support levels.
One of the possible high margin achievers.

Good to see interest in plantation is rising. Quarterly result should be fantastic. Hope at least a 20% instant gain on plantations.

public holding is 5.46%. So they have not complied with the 10% public float rule.

So be careful. AS they can jack up the price & sell 5% downwards.
Main holding companies done that before. EX- JKH,
