At current price the PER of NTB is below 10. With a Return on Equity of almost 20% and a 2.5% Return on Net Assets it's in par with most top banking shares. NTB has been paying a consistent dividend of over 2 per share for the last three years. For the preceding quarter it recorded a NAV per share of 53.82 and currently trading below twice its book value.
With the current run on banking shares it's good time to look at NTB.

Yes, it's possible. We haven't seen the bullrun of the other banking shares in NTB.

NTB was backing by sri lankas largest company. Not like other banks, this bank have very good future. They are expanding their branch network and it will help them to build a strong cx base. They are the only bank that provides American Express credit cards in sri lanka.

Being a new kid in the block it has not been an easy run for NTB. But they already have 80 branches and 32 Off-site ATMs. Net fees and commission recorded a growth of 14% mainly attributable to the solid performance demonstrated by their Amex credit cards.
I think the real run on this share is yet to start.
