It is anticipated according to some Golden Key court case related and Ceylinco group court cases that W.G.U.I. Ranaweera; son of W. G. Bandula Manthinatha Ranaweera (Deputy Chairman, Ceylinco Finance group = now Retiled Nation Lanka) is unfit and improper according to some rules of Central Bank's rules put on Banking and Finance sector.

Several court cases have pointed out that Bandula Ranaweera has transferred properties owned by Ceylinco group companies to his sons and family unethically and the sons and father Ranaweera was charged people of court cases too.

Ceylinco Finance too collapsed under the management of Ranaweera.
