No talks about OSEA. It should hit 32+ by next two weeks. Another fact is it will not fall to 25 level. Do you know WTC and Havlock city is belong to this holding company.

This is a strong share with lots of fundamentals. good for long-term investors. Nevertheless this has a sluggish movement.

This is another famous share in SLEF. Lets see.

But i am here just talk about fundamentals nothing else.

Easy calculation P/E based value.
Industry P/E 12.90
Annualised EPS 3.44
Value Rs.44

So sounds attractive isn't it. But this earnings are with fair value adjustment.

So if we take fair value out.
Annualised EPS 2.25
Valuation Rs.29

Not as attractive as above isn't it.

Please note in this property sector cash flows are generated only through rental or other related income (sale of properties etc...). So normally fair value adjustments are neglected.

So the reason for lack of heat may be that & this is a not a stock like ETWO or PDL. This has lot of volume in the market.

So for investing good. Trading ????????????????

I have a doubt on the long term yields on OSEA. For instance business of selling apartments for high end consumers is getting very competitive. Havelock City had an advantage in the past due to the Super Market Complex planned and spacious environment. However many new projects coming in the future are planning on same lines. Also the bill on foreign ownership has already damped the long term investing spirit of foreigners and locals holding dual passports with foreign passport holding off spring. WTC could also loose its demand with the re-vamping of Colombo city. Finally OSEA is stingy on dividends.

Overseas Realty 9M2014 earnings up 28% YoY - Overseas Realty PLC (OSEA: CP - LKR 25.0, TP 28.5; BUY) recorded revenue LKR 2.1bn for 3Q2014 (+25.7% YoY) and revenue of LKR 4.7bn for 9M2014 (+41% YoY). Profit for the quarter was up 15.3% YoY to LKR 908mn (9M2014 earnings were up 28% to LKR 2.4bn), in line with our expectations. GP margins for the 9M2014 remained flat at 37%, while NAVPS increased to LKR 29.76. OSEA currently trades at a PBV of 0.84x.
